Ashok Yanamadala, M.D.

Medical Doctor of Adult & Adolescent Psychiatry

Ashok Yanamadala M.D. is a psychiatrist specializing in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry. Dr. Yanamadala earned his Doctor of Medicine in 1993 from the Medical College of Virginia. He is licensed by the states of Missouri and Illinois and has worked in Madison County, St. Louis County, and St Charles County. Working in private practice for almost 20 years, Dr. Yanamadala has extensive experience in Adult and Adolescent Psychiatry as well as Addiction Psychiatry having worked in the Inpatient, Outpatient, and Intensive Outpatient settings at Centerpointe Hospital Adult Substance abuse Programs. He is also part of several medical entities including the BJC Behavioral Health Credentialing Committee and the AACAP.

Edward Flynn, A.B.S., M.A., L.P.C., N.B.C.C.H., D.B.T.C.

Therapist

Edward Flynn is a Licensed Professional Counselor who works toward the treatment of clients struggling with childhood trauma, PTSD, anxiousness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, relationship issues, LGBTQIA+ concerns, and self injury. He specializes in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as a mode of treatment, and works in outpatient settings with children and adults. Additionally, he is a certified hypnotherapist, which can aid in DBT. Edward centers his sessions on patient satisfaction, and individualizes each treatment plan to the needs of the patient. Edward Flynn is also a nationally certified in clinical hypnotherapy and dialectical behavior therapy.

Sheila Barnes, L.C.S.W.

Therapist

Sheila Barnes is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a master’s degree in social work from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Sheila is a compassionate psychotherapist who enjoys working with a diverse clientele including children, adolescents, and adults. She specializes in the care of Adolescents and Families providing therapy at the Outpatient level of care. Sheila provides an eclectic approach when engaging in therapy including, Client-Centered Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. This allows her to tailor the method being used to best fit each client’s particular needs.

Connor Perkins

Connor Perkins graduated from Washington University in St. Louis. At Lakeside Behavioral Health, Connor works as the Practice Manager, responsible for the oversight and compliance of the practice business and services.

Vivek Yanamadala

At Lakeside Behavioral Health, Vivek serves as the Practice Administrator, overseeing the practice’s operations and finances, and is responsible for the continuing development and refinement of Lakeside Behavioral Health.
